Money Management Institute Honors Eaton Vance’s John Moninger with 2021 MMI Leadership Award

NEW YORK, NY, November 1, 2021 – The Money Management Institute (MMI) announced that John Moninger, Managing Director of Intermediary Sales, Eaton Vance Distributors, Inc., has been awarded its prestigious 2021 MMI Leadership Award. His official recognition took place during the virtual MMI Annual Conference on October 28th.

Embodying all of these attributes, John is deservedly respected across our industry.”

Mr. Moninger is responsible for setting the strategic direction and day-to-day oversight of all sales and relationship management within Eaton Vance’s Intermediary channels, as well as the Eaton Vance Advisor Institute. His leadership role within the firm focuses on enhancing sales reach and relationships, while building on the Eaton Vance client-oriented solutions across the full range of intermediaries. He has nearly 28 years of experience in the wealth management and investment management business and has held key global leadership roles throughout his career. Before joining Eaton Vance in 2012, Mr. Moninger was executive vice president of advisory and brokerage consulting services at LPL Financial, which he joined in 2007.

Mr. Moninger earned a BS in business administration from Kutztown University. He is a past chairman of MMI and currently serves on its board of governors. He also serves as chairman and president of the SEAL Family Foundation. He has earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor and Certified Investment Management Analyst designations.
