NEW YORK, NY, April 21, 2022 – The Money Management Institute (MMI) is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of its founding in 1997. The idea for MMI came from a small group of executives in the rapidly evolving Separately Managed Account space who met regularly to discuss issues and challenges and saw the benefits that could come from a formal industry association, and MMI was born.
Today, it is the industry-leading association with over 200 member firms and 9,000 members – representing financial services firms providing financial advice and investment advisory solutions to investors.

MMI’s membership today includes wealth managers, asset managers, and solutions providers, and they range in size from some of the largest global financial institutions to emerging innovators and new entrants. All told, MMI member firms collectively represent 95% of all assets in the advisory solutions sector.”
