MMI NetMeeting - Managing Stress for Success: Strategies to Help You Better Prepare for and Respond to Stress

Replay | MMI NetMeeting

Given the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis and the overwhelming amount of pressure that business professionals may normally feel, it’s easy to imagine that stress in our lives can lead to disengagement from work, clients or families, burnout or depression.

While we can never remove stress, we can change how we manage it. This MMI member-only NetMeeting, presented by Janus Henderson Investors, will explore how you can use stress as an opportunity for growth.

The session will provide you with actionable tools to identify the sources of stress, your reactions to it, and ways to manage it more productively. Among the program takeaways:

  • Understand the key attributes of what stress is, how it shows up, and where it can be beneficial.
  • Assess your current stress load and identify areas where you can make immediate changes.
  • Appreciate and home in on your personal stress formula and find out where in the cycle you can constructively disrupt your reactions.
  • Adjust and recalculate your reactions to stressors with habits that help you prepare, respond and achieve more effective outcomes

In preparation for the NetMeeting, please take the Stress Load Audit. It takes less than 2 minutes and the results will identify key areas of focus so you can make the most out of this session.

You can also download the Managing Stress for Success Workbook for strategies to help you better prepare for and respond to stress.
